He seemed friendly and told me he could customize my retainers and do pretty much all types. I spoke to Joey on the phone and didn't realize at the time that he was the one who does the piercing work at the shop.

But I had walked by the shop and saw they sold jewelry too, so I gave them a call. I've know about Squid Ink but didn't really know they also did piercings along with tattoos. Looking back, I wish I had been more educated on the size of my jewelry. My reason being I wasn't sure about the size of my current piercings. I didn't want to shop online but I was close to doing that. I was looking at places to buy non-metal jewelry. This isn't always easy and even letting my husband assist is difficult because he had large hands! I feel dumb for not considering going to a piercing shop for help. In the past, I've bought plastic jewelry and put it in myself. I'm having a kidney stone procedure next week and needed to remove metal jewelry.

You can tell that he truly cares for his customer and just the way his personality is is just awesome ! All the instruments are sterilize and the room was super clean ! I will definitely be going here for all my future piercing ! Highly recommended ! Read Less I love the fact that he can customized the piercing (earrings) to your liking, and will also give opinion. He was able to make the earrings fit PERFECTLY so it's not poking/sticking out. Anyways, I ended up getting my tongue re-open/pierced since it had been closed for 5+ years, a change in my tragus earring which was super long and my cartilage earring change. I came in there not wanting to know the downside of getting that piercing but Joey had told me all that I needed to know, and the last thing I want down the line as I age is getting a chip tooth while talking or whatever (my worse nitemare!). He also said even though there were customers that had told him to just pierce it because it's what THEY want it doesn't make him feel good knowing What can/May happen.

I initially wanted the snake eyes piercing at the tip of my tongue, but Joey straight up told me that he doesn't do that here, due to lots of complications in the future with peoples teeth, gums etc. My friend made an appt at 3:30pm 11/27 with Joey to get our piercing done, we came in and was greeted by the receptionist she was nice and asked for the usual ID and sign some consent form. you name it ! But since this was a recommendation from a trustworthy friend, I went ahead. I've always been so iffy about going into salons inside the mall whether it's for nails, hair, massages. I went in to Squid Ink recommended by a good friend of mine. so now i have these jacked up tattoos that are noticeably jacked up, i'm saying like even from 5 feet 's possible he makes personal attacks on people if he doesn't like your personality. drawing it out on paper then transferring it probably would have helped my tattoo's come out way better. if he says he's going to draw on you don't trust that. i had the most basic tattoo done it took him 10 minutes and it came out pretty awful. it's too bad i'd love to have another one of his artists work on me but i can't even. i'm disappointed and not even considering going back to him for touch ups. he seems to lack focus- and I'm pretty sure he rushes to get done as fast as possible which is probably the other reason he messes up. He'll be working on you and one of his coworkers starts talking to him and he raises his head to talk to them and KEEPS THE GUN GOING! this is when i noticed he can't draw a straight line nor color in between lines. I've had a few things done that really called for straight lines and symmetry, and he managed to mess them up quite noticeably. He can be arrogant- and decide on coloring without even telling you what he's going to do.and then gets defensive if you ask what he's doing. Keith calls himself a master and because he is the owner you would think he could do a solid tattoo.
